I wasn't really too fussed about having someone work on my CV. I always thought that the information was in the CV I already had and that the hiring party could pull it apart to find the information they were looking for. With the work done on mine I found I got a shorter, simpler, snappier version of the same information which is both more professional looking, and more easy to digest for the hiring parties who are having a quick glance at the CV's to decide which ones to invest more time on.
